Heh. I barely managed to defeat a boss, then when I was on my way to save the game, some random monster pwned my ass. I nearly broke my controller in pure pissin' rage.

Japanese and English voice actors are hardworking people who deserve OUR, as fans, RESPECT. I love both versions. Why can't all the fan-dubber haters just keep their opinions to themselves and just respect the fact that english voice actors are doing this because here in North America (I'm a Canadian), WE SPEAK ENGLISH! I swear, the words of the lesser beings (haters like you) are just like an rash you can't get rid of. And yes I DO respect YOUR opinion. But please, stop your useless whining.

Wow. That is pretentious. I'm not a fan of dubbing either, but could you have sounded more like an asshole? Does it really make the game any less fun or gorgeous-looking?

If thats the case, do you have any issues with the Japanese and Indians dubbing live action movies into Japanese and Hindi? I hope so, since we all know from MST3K that live action dubbing is a crime against art. Animation is the only thing you can get away with. Plus those Japanese voice actors are sooooo great. Some of the "women" characters have shrill squeaky cute voices that are almost above the human range of hearing! So kawaii!

While I can see the point that dubbing have existed soley to make it easier for the audience and I would be very put off to see dubbing in a live action movie... I still think DDS dubbing is fantastic. And yes I have heard the japanese ones too. Also DDS with the highest probability takes place in America (well what used to be) so having the characters speak english just makes more sense. Same with MGS (though I think the russians should speak russians :p)

ok more on dubbing dubbing a marketing ploy used by the business to satisfy the dumb americans or whoever who can't read subtitles and follow a movie. (this is why you will see on the cover of a foreign film an actor or actresses name) I watch a lot of import movies and I always watch them subbed! This is out of respect for the ones who made it and acted in it this includes all Countries.

no dubbing is pretty pathetic compared to the original seiyu it's really hard to get used it when you hear dubbing. It's like a shock if your not use it. I am just not a fan of it. Never will be.

Stop cramming the pocky down your throat. DDS has easily one of the best Japanese to English dubs ever. Only Final Fantasy XII is superior.
